Photo Imaging Center began as Photo Finish in a remodeled Texaco station on Carl’s Corner. Construction began in 1982 and the store opened in March 1983. In 1986, Photo Finish opened its Gillette, WY location on Douglas Highway; moving into their current Gillette location on Camel Drive in 1989. In 1993 Photo Finish more than tripled their store size moving to the current location on Coffeen Ave. The latest expansion in 1999 created the Photo Imaging Center. The larger, digital Classic Portrait Studio, the Digital Image Lab, the new Digital Video Lab, and the greatly expanded Camera Store along with the totally new photo lab (including E6 slide processing, film recorders, scanners, etc) just didn’t fit under the Photo Finish name any longer.
Today, photos from film or digital cameras are handled with the same ease, care, quality, price, and quick service times. Prints can be made from film or digital files from wallets to wall sized murals. Film images and digital images can be transferred to videotape, CD, or DVD. We print photos, of course, but we also make trade show displays, banners, point-of-sale displays, etc. Our specialty is archival, photographic quality in any size or media.
Classic Portrait Studios shoots almost entirely digital photos allowing greater creativity and Work of Art Portraits on Canvas, or Fine Art Paper, as well as photographic media. The Digital Video Lab can transfer old home movies, slides, or prints to video tape, CD, or DVD as well as create video training and sales aids for your business. The Camera Stores offer the best selection of 35mm cameras, digital still cameras, and digital video camcorders in Wyoming. We also handle factory warranty service for any of the products we sell.
